Anoushka Shankar

Anoushka is an American-British sitarist and musician. She was the first woman within her age bracket to receive an award from the British House of Commons Staff. Anoushka Shakar, a young emerging singer on Indian Sitar, is Anoushka. She is the student and child of Ravi Shankar. Her birthplace was in London in 1982 and began her life by hopping back and forth to London in London and New Delhi. Her debut performance was on stage in New Delhi when she was thirteen years old. At the age of 13, she finished her high schooling at Encinitas CA. Even though she's very young, Anouskha has an impressive performing and recording career. She is often seen performing with her dad and has performed with him for quite a number of years. She released her debut solo album Anourag in the year 1998. It was followed by Live at Carnegie Hall, a Grammy-nominated album a year later. Stage performance is a significant part of her work. She has performed in a variety of important venues across the world. Anoushka Shankar's career is not limited to music. In 2002, she wrote an autobiography titled Bapi The Love of My Live this is a picture-based biography, which is a respect to her dad Ravi Shankar. In 2003 she starred as the role of a Bharat Nathyam young dancer Dance Like a Man. Anoushka Shankar's professional career is continuing to develop and we can expect to see a variety of things from her in the years to be. Anoushka was born in England, but spent most of her childhood between London in the UK and Delhi. After that, she relocated to California and attended the high school. In Delhi on his birthday, which was celebrated at the age of 75 Anoushka first made an appearance playing the sitar in front of the audience four years following her nine-year-old father.
